The company was started in 1989 as the Belgian division of the headquarters in the Netherlands. The Belgian management momentarily owns all shares as well as the Benelux brand name and the Benelux logo.

Bausch and LANCOM products are distributed for BELUX by Bausch Datacom.

The company offers standard hardware products & consultancy and installation services on demand.

Moreover the company specialises in networking products through the partnership with LANCOM SYSTEMS which allows to generate an interesting cross-over between WAN-communication and LAN-networking. LANCOM SYSTEMS and Bausch Datacom work closely together to develop specific solutions for industrial customers. (f.i.
